Our Go Green program gives you the option to conserve energy, water, and reduce your carbon footprint during your stay with us for 2 nights and above.
By participating, you will receive 300 SPG points for non-SPG guest. For SPG guest, you will receive 500 SPG points for every day your room is not serviced by our Style Team. This means that you agree to turn down all housekeeping cleaning services, and coffee & bathroom amenities won’t be automatically replenished. In just one night you can save 40 gallons of water, 25000 BTU of natural gas and 7oz of chemicals, you are empowered to decide on how much energy and water to be conserved.
Specific areas around the hotel have been developed to collect the plentiful rainwater in Singapore and recycle it to be used for irrigation programmes on the greenery all of the resort. This way, we save water consumption and use a fantastic recuse wisely.
You may noticed that the aircon system in your room will change its settings automatically if you left your balcony doors opened for longer than 30 seconds. This measure is taken to reduce wastage of energy in losing cold air, and prevent the air-conditioning chemicals to be released to the outdoor environment.
We celebrate Earth Hour every year. During Earth Hour, we switched off all non-essential lighting in the hotel for an hour, from 20:30 to 21:30. All services will resume as normal, but the lighting will be replaced with candles and neon glow sticks, so glow with us!
W Singapore - Sentosa Cove architectural design and orientation layout enhances thermal comfort, natural ventilation and natural day lighting. This helps to decrease the need for supplementary cooling and lighting.
